Make a Difference Locally

Copper Creek has developed three Local Mission Partnerships.  Each area has a leadership team involved in prayer, planning and connecting Copper Creek to ongoing and special projects.  For more information about any of these groups, contact Scott Keeble.  Find your passion and get involved!

Kingdom’s Cause is a non-profit dedicated to serving homeowners in the Champaign-Urbana. Their goal and mission is to build relationships with community members and assist homeowners with home repair projects. Projects range from small repairs to large-scale projects like roofing and landscaping. Copper Creek’s Partnership includes a Vision and Strategy Team, Providing volunteers for projects and general support as needed.

Young Lives is a ministry of Young Life that ministers to teen moms. Young Lives connects teens to caring mentors, life skill resources and, most importantly, to a God who loves them desperately. Copper Creek’s Partnership includes a Vision & Strategy Team, Providing meals for Club events, Entering into Mentorship Relationships, Fundraising for Camp and general support as needed.

Make a Difference Abroad

The Meet Malawi Project is centered around our partnership with Lisanjala Church in Malawi. The project has included such efforts as:

  • A shallow wells project
  • A community garden
  • Scholarships for students
  • Micro-financing
  • A new church building for the Lisanjala congregation

About 50 members of our church have had the life changing experience of travelling to Malawi on one of our summer mission trips. Contact the church office to find out more.
