Youth Group

Welcome to youth group—a space intentionally designed to be a home where youth are known as the unique individuals God created. We believe that your voice, questions, and spiritual journey matter.


Our time together will be full of meaningful discussions, honest prayer, and plenty of room for laughter through games and activities. Whether we are discussing life and faith, or serving our community, you can expect an environment where you are free to be your authentic self. We are a family-driven group that prioritizes kindness and inclusion above all else, ensuring that no matter who you are or where you come from, you have a safe, supportive place to belong.

GROWING AND SERVING TOGETHER

While meeting weekly is a huge part of who we are, we also value growing together through serving others and exploring our faith.

  • CONFIRMATION CLASS

    During the 9am church service, our youth who are in 8th grade (or older) will be meeting to learn more about the theology behind our faith. This is an in depth class we encourage every 8th grader to participate in, whether they are an active participant in youth group or not. It’s a great way to ask questions and dig into the ‘why’ of what we believe. By the end of our time together, kids will be able to write their own statement of faith and become members of our church.


    This class will take place in the Spring from 9am-10am every Sunday.

  • MISSION TRIPS

    Our hope is to bring back our tradition of the youth going on a mission trip. We hope to make that happen in July of 2027. If you would like to join Mel to plan this- you are welcome!

  • KIDS CHURCH TEAMS

    This year the youth who are volunteering with the younger kids will be split into teams. Each team will be assigned to help with our KIDS CHURCH (our version of Sunday School) two Sundays on and two Sundays off.


    The ‘on’ Sundays, each youth will be assigned a specific grade level to help. The preschool & elementary kids love having our youth learn the lessons with them and the youth are a big part of helping us keep everyone safe, learning about Jesus and having fun!


    The ‘off’ Sundays, each youth will have the opportunity to complete a sermon notes worksheet. I encourage them to sit together through the whole service and follow along using the handout as a tool to help them pay attention. Once turned in, each worksheet will gain their team a point. Once 30 worksheets have been turned in, the whole youth group will get to have a treat of their team’s choice.
